Today was our day off so a bunch of us headed to Pescara for a beach day.
The train was a super nice new one with a screen showing the stops and lots of great view of the mountains.
Our first goal was to find some lunch. Almost everything was full, but we finally found a place that was pretty good. It took us almost 2 hours to get our food but there was lots of good seafood and some fish.
We then headed to the beach. We got a shady spot under an umbrella and then some ice cream. The water wasn't too cold and was surprisingly shallow; we could wade all the way out to the rocks.
There was a super cool bridge right by the beach...
...as well as cool historical fishing lines...
...plus some fun shops.
